Why this site exists
Many websites accumulate years of platform debris: obsolete CMS plugins, abandoned databases, broken templates, forgotten redirects and server configuration copied from one host to another. A redesign can make that worse if it focuses only on appearance.
CMSWebsite.ca focuses on the preservation and migration problem: understand what the existing site contains, keep what earned value, remove what no longer serves a purpose and choose the smallest architecture that supports the real requirement.
What this site is not
It is not a CMS vendor, hosting provider or automated migration service. The guides are general planning information, and complex security incidents, ecommerce systems or regulated data may require qualified technical professionals.
